Great job. Loved your interpretation. I have read everything Herbert wrote.
“selective breeding” haha just call it eugenics, thats what it is
Just remembered this movie was so long it came on 2 vhs tapes😂. Great book, but oh god what a terribly bad movie. My honest opinion: the concept is amazing HOWEVER, half way through the movie i became completely lossed. They had some crazy time skips and they didn't explain why a lot of events took place, these events just seem to happen. It's as if they couldn't fit everything needed for a satisfying story into this movie and all the narration/exposition in the world couldn't save it. I would be more than happy to sit down and watch three 2hour long movies that encompass this 1 movie. Or even a series. Even though I think this story is way too epic to be made into a 1hour series. I wasn't satisfied at the end of this movie but i still look forward to the remake.
Who is the artist of the last one honored matre picture. I've always wonder: if the stone in the form there is the absolute hardest they have, too hard to break or cut with traditional means or tools, how did they get it there in that particular form, shape, and size.
The Dora Milaje before the Dora Milaje lmao
The spice that what all the junkies in my neighborhood want lol

This movie is total sh*t ! Instead of watching it I recommend to read the book.
The plot is in such a mess, that I doubt it if someone could understand something close to the book.
Usually Lynch's movies are pure art.
Intelegently written plots, incredible photography, detailed scenes. br>
But this. this. br>
I expected nothing close to what I saw.
I am disgusted! Two hours wasted time.
Another Hollywood sh*t, from a good book.
The Gom Jabbar test for humanity kinda changed my life at the time. To allow oneself to instinctively react as an animal, versus forcing oneself to reason as a human. Some deep stuff right there.
0:14 South Park referenced this. When I was young my brother borrowed 2 vhs casets ( im not sure how to write it properly) and it was 7 hours Dune, it was copy of dune 1984. This is the best thing that I watched in since. Can you do a video on family trees? SInce they're all kinda related to each other #thanksbenegesserit also I challenge everybody here who plays the Sims to recreate all the families in CAS (starting at whatever point in the dune timeline) and make them come all the way down to Leto II, Ghanima and Farad'n or even further. #letthebenegesseritingbegin.
00:16. Without change. something sleeps inside us... I really enjoy David Lynch's work in general, this film and the scenes/clips from it you chose, but your use of music (Sunshine (Adagio in D Minor) or maybe Kaneda's Death specifically, by John Murphy, a particular remix I'm not familiar with, which you should have the decency to credit anyway) is bad, gratuitous and trite.
Like if muammar khaddafis immortals & men who stare at goats pounded out a babysan. I'm glad to be too young for this movie, so I can enjoy Spicediver's fanedit, thank you sir; amazing job. The original dragonborn, lmao.
